Hulde Australische soldaten / Tribute Australian soldiers

Donderdag 8 november werden voor het derde jaar op rij de
graven bezocht van 11 Australische soldaten, gesneuveld tijdens
de 1ste Wereldoorlog. Dit in samenwerking met leerlingen van
de Strathpine West School die de kransen gemaakt hebben en
ons bezorgd werden via de Australische ambassade. De kinderen
van onze school: BSGO"Het Vroonhof" te Poperinge
brachten de kransen in optocht naar de militaire begraafplaats
Poperinge
New Military Cemetery in de Deken Debolaan.
Please find below some pictures of the tribute by the
pupils of the school 'Vroonhof' at Poperinge. For the third
consecutive year, the worked together with the Strathpine
West School from Australia. The pupils of the latter school
made the wreaths. With the help of the Australian Embassy
from Brussels, the wreaths were given to the Belgian pupils.
The wreaths were laid at the graves of 11 Australian soldiers
at Poperinge
