Cheque voor/for Talbot House - Poperinge - 12/11/2007
Op maandag 12 november was Talbot
House open tussen 9u30 en 17u30. Om 15u overhandigde Ryan
Gearing van Tommies Guides een cheque van 1.250 pond aan Talbot
House. Dit geld werd ingezameld op verzoek van Harry Patch
(108-jarige veteraan die in 2004 de Concert Hall van Talbot
House (her)opende), via charity auctions op E-Bay van het
gesigneerde boek "The Last Fighting Tommy".
Please find below some pictures of the cheque of 1.250
pounds given to Talbot
House on Monday, November, 12th, 2007. The money was raised
on initiative of WW1-veteran Harry Patch who inaugurated the
Concert Hall in 2004. Books signed by Harry were sold on E-Bay
and in this way the money has been raised.
