| Wapenstilstand / Armistice
- Pollinkhove - 11/11/2008 The members of the band of Devon Fire Brigade
were, Ray Couch on the bagpipes, Sandy Brown on the drums, and Dave Morley on
the Bugle. Dave played the Last Post on the Bugle, Ray played a Lament on the
bagpipes and this was followed by Reveille on the bugle. Sandy and Ray then marched
off to "Wings", a traditional Scottish pipe band tune. Also in the pictures
are Paul Furler, Richard Wightman and Anne and John Allan. The group visited the
war grave of Daves great uncle Thomas Foster who was killed in the second world
war.
